Week Seven
Real progress has been made. My desire to play Modern Warfare two has overcome my desire to eat fast food. I have not eaten out at all this week since I didn't want to miss out on any video game time. I don't feel any healthier or anything but I do feel pretty accomplished. The only thing that I am worried about is whether or not this progress will keep up once I have beaten the COD. Well none the less my program seems to be working pretty well and I hope that I can keep it up!

Hey Steven
ReplyDeleteI totally get where you are coming from with the modern warfare 2, and how it overcomes all desires. I believe that you should use that video game as positive reinforcement for your behavior. It is great that you have not eaten any fast food this week, however like you mentioned make sure that you keep this behavior even after the video game dies down, you could ensure this by continuing to use your positive/negative reinforcement. Keep going, you can do it.

Hey!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm really glad you've made progress and haven't ate fast food all week but you shouldn't be not eating at all because of CoD...like Clarence said, use the game as a positive reinforcement when you don't eat fast food; not as a means to keep yourself so busy that you don't eat at all. And maybe you should cut down on the hours? To ensure you don't finish the game before the programs over so you end up with no motivation to not eat fast food. It's great that you're making progress but don't forget to eat! Good luck next week!
Well that's good that you have found a good form of positive reinforcement! I would definately continue using the game to cut down on how much you eat fast food.
